Introduction to Japanese Language and Culture 

In the Introduction to Japanese Language and Culture Camp, we will learn the basics of the rich language and culture of Japan. Students will be introduced to conversational Japanese and the writing system. The class will cover the history of Japan from ancient to modern times through origami, food, art, history, philosophy and anime and what we can learn about strong and positive group dynamics. Topical culture lessons will be in both English and basic Japanese.
